I regret to inform Jim F he may have confused the drug-runners-for-guns from “Houston” with the ones from Mena, Arkansas, and/or any state where a Bush was governor, etc.  And though the Iran/Contra scandal flew during the Reagan administration, it was VP Bush who was in charge of it all.

    More significantly, regardless of whether Yemen wants more missiles with which to draw the amorous attention of Iraq; oil IS the big deal, plus Saddam H being a loose cannon, compared to most minor dictators—the huge, rich, one-world powers don’t like to let those guys get too far out of hand.  They’d probably nail Korea worse, if they didn’t think it would upset giant China.     

   But the WORST MISTAKE here from good ole’ Jim is his concept that only Western culture wants peace, and that other world regions contain “scum.”   Holy network TV, Jim, don’t you realize those other religions think they’re correct, the way you think you are?   And what exactly about Western culture (would that include Stalin & Hitler; or only Castro & South American dictatorships, Colombian & Mexican drug cartels, and American presidents?) is so peaceful that we don’t bomb whatever weak country we can to get re-elected year-to-year.  Jim, were we bombing scum?

    Come on, Jim, the real problem is not the PEOPLE, i.e. poor citizens of the world, nor their cultures, race, religion, etc.; the real problem IS the criminals, the greedy, politicians, and other child-molesters.

 It has occurred to me the idea that “the meek shall inherit the Earth” may have been intentional misinformation intended to keep the masses seeking to be meek, i.e., turning the other cheek, all the more easy to be controlled or wiped out by the strong/rich/powerful.  

WorldPeace:  That is exactly the core controlling message of the Christian bureaucracy.

Perhaps it would have been nice & wonderful if the “meek” COULD have inherited the Earth, but actually, the scum of the world are most often the ones who seek and gain high power—controlling poorer men—through whatever means necessary.  When Hillary said the state should raise and control the children, and that the state should decide our medications and care; it was because she saw herself as the state, and SHE knew better than all lesser mankind.  The rich and powerful will insist we should not have a class war, but that’s really because they don’t want the “lower” (economically) class to rise up and mulch the elite-most “upper” class.

 The War on Terrorism will have exactly whatever length a list is necessary to keep the masses diverted from holding their politicians accountable.  That, combined with medical and environmental hoaxes; should keep us docile enough to be taxed into the ground, short of a bigger, less profitable, World War or such.
